Morath’s Minions Take Home the 2016 BASH Cup

September 9, 2016 Leave a comment Go to comments

After one of the bloodiest finals we’ve seen yet in the League the Morath’s Minions have come out victorious on the pitch and proved their worth to Nuffle as the 2016 Champions of the BASH league. If you missed it you can catch the archived video of the final on youtube in all it’s technical difficulty plagued glory.

Congratulations Morath’s Minion and their coach Joshua Garton, you’ve earned it.

And Now it’s Time to Say Goodbye

Usually after one of these posts is the part where I get everyone pumped up for the next season and remind you when we’ll be mustering again for the next season. However this time it is with a heavy heart that I announce that 2016 will be the last year for BASH. Since Blood Bowl released in 2009 I’ve had the privilege of being your commissioner. Since that time we went through three different league management tools and three different editions of the game, we’ve had a chance to see some of the best players in the country come onto the pitch and prove their mettle and I’ve enjoyed every season working with all of you. But all good things come to an end, and I think now is good time to bring the league to a close.

Thank you to all the coaches who have played through the years. I hope you all keep playing and that I see you out on the pitch.
